Response to comment about which Bible do you use? From this paper, you'll learn how to test and identify corrupted versions of the Bible.
The following is a response to a friend (Jared) of TTGM who commented about the modern-day bible (NASB95) he uses.
Here is the post that was sent out by TTGM in November 2024.
WHICH BIBLE DO YOU USE?
This is long but understanding His word is vital to our walk and knowing our King. Be not deceived.
EXAMPLE. We pray you get the understanding.
It is written. God ONLY approves us if we STUDY. To Study we must READ. The newer bibles have done away with the word study.
The most literal word is STUDY. See 4th link and watch presentation 1. Learn about, “Literal”, “Free”, and “Balanced” translations.
KJV
2Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Old Tyndall does it in a literal way.
2Tim 2:15 Study to shewe thy silfe laudable vnto god a workman yt nedeth not to be a shamed dividynge the worde of trueth iustly.
Old Geneva does it in a literal way
2Tim 2:15 Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workeman that needeth not to be ashamed, diuiding the worde of trueth aright.
The Newer bible rendition (NIV translation) – Not meant to be literal (4th link).
2Tim 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
Study is removed and Do your best is put in its place. So, I know we must study (KJV) and you just do your best (niv). This is called crazy to the understanding mind.

I just shared with you the mysteries in the Bible that no other book has (codes and unique structure). If after I have shared, you still do not believe that the Book is the Word of God, give me a second chance to show you more (much more). I share the following with my hardcore atheist “friends.” After they see it, to date, they have not returned for further debate (eg. American Atheist organization)

Which Bible do you use?
Gail Riplinger was placed on her back (literally) for about 6 years to study the many Bibles. After that study, she concluded that the newer bibles are corrupted. Corrupted by the god of this world called satan. Get the full picture by listening to her presentations on this page dedicated to her. We thank you Gail for all your great work over the years.

The foundation of TTGM’s (truthgospel.org) Bible sharing comes from the King James Version (KJV). Do I only use the KJV? No, I only use Bibles translated from the Antioch manuscripts (Majority Text). Listen to the presentations in the links and you will understand what the Majority Text is. Take your time; understanding our God should not be rushed.
Do not allow these corrupted books to mislead you on your walk. Again, I pray you understand. Do not allow the deceiver to win.

Apologist Response to Jared
Completed by TTGM – 09.11.2024
Updated by TTGM – 01.12.2024
Jared wrote (JW) in response to the above quote:
I actually prefer the NASB95 version “be diligent” which is an even more intensive interpretation than to study. One can study without being diligent, but they cannot be diligent without study.
—
TTGM’s Response (TR):
To be diligent does not convey the meaning of the word Study. You can be diligently wrong and in error. Yes, I can and should be diligent but doing what? The verse no longer says what, it no longer has the specific word that tells us specifically what to do. If someone reading the NASB95 is asked what they should be diligently doing, would it be to study? I say study would not necessarily be your first answer. For me, it is my first answer; we must study to be approved by our God. It is the literal translation of God’s word.
My full answer is going to be based on LOGIC.
We must start by believing the word of God. God said He will preserve His word and by faith, we should believe He did (and it is forever).
Ps 12:6-7 [KJV] The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Question.
Where is His word found? His word is found written down in Hebrew (OT) and Greek (NT). I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT TRANSLATIONS. Again, His word was given to us in Hebrew and Greek, NOT ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, etc..
There are two sources for the Hebrew/Greek manuscripts. The Majority Text from the Syria (1) region and the Minority Text from the Alexandria (2) region. Based on my findings, I believe God preserved His word in the manuscripts coming from Syria. The people who study and say they hold to the older manuscripts (Minority Text) are in error. The “papers” are older but the words on them are of the same age. Again, the difference is that one group of manuscripts was corrupted and the other group was PRESERVED. Manuscripts in Syria were used more so they were heavily copied to keep them in good reading condition. The Manuscripts in Alexandria were not used as often so copying was not necessary; so they aged and got older.
Now, I am going to test whether your Bible (NASB95 = New American Standard Bible 1995) was translated from the corrupted manuscripts or the ones God preserved.
Remember:
The Majority Text was from the Syria (1) region – preserved by God.
The Minority Text was from the Alexandria (2) region. – These were corrupted by man for profit (satan’s influence was described by Gail Riplinger – check the above links in the post).
I will use seven checkpoints from the Book (KJV). REMINDER: The KJV was translated from The Majority Text.
KJV – Check 1
2Tim 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – The word study is removed.
2Tim 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
— —
KJV – Check 2
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
New American Standard Bible 1995 – The word “in” is changed to “on” (the Mark)
Rev 13:16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,
— —
KJV – Check 3
Matt 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – Who would want this verse removed from the Great Book?
Matt 17:21 This verse is missing and parked as a footnote
— —
KJV – Check 4
Mark 15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – Verse removed from the Great Book?
Mark 15:28 This verse is missing and parked as a footnote
— —
KJV – Check 5
Matt 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – Verse removed from the Great Book?
Matt 23:14 This verse is missing and parked as a footnote
— —
KJV – Check 6
1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – Important part of the verse removed from the Great Book?
1John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
— —
KJV – Check 7
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
New American Standard Bible 1995 – Verse removed from the Great Book?
Acts 8:37 This verse is missing and parked as a footnote
— —
and much more changes can be found from the corrupted manuscripts…
Based on these checks I have concluded the “New American Standard Bible 1995” was translated from the Minority/corrupted text. So, I would not use it. This is just me and how I apply logic.

Do some research into the commission by King Jimmy. Full of political correctness.
The NASB didn’t really fall into political correctness until the 2020 version.
The ESV is also pretty good.
The fact of the matter is, the English translations are the worst thing that ever happened to proper understanding of the scriptures. They were all translated from the Viewpoint of Rome to a degree. The KJV has quite a bit of blatant additions and mistranslations that are not in a lot of other translations. Simply because they translated it out of the Textus Receptus which was translated out of the Latin Vulgate. A translation of a translation of a translation filtered through the ideology of Rome. At least in other translations those additions are bracketed and explained that they were not in the original text. It can be very easily demonstrated through history that the KJV is very politically correct in favor of a monarchy or oligarchy. I don’t really want to get into an argument on this because this subject might be a little bit deep for the basic Torah group. This is why Paul told Timothy to be diligent. (2 Tim 2:15) It’s why he said to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. (Phil 2:12) That’s why John said to try the spirit to see whether they be of Yah. (1 Jn 4:1) It’s why Paul said to examine everything carefully and hold on to that which is good. (1 Thes 5:21)
It is incumbent on us to study the original texts and learn the grammar and mechanics of the original language.

TR
Thank you for this second response. It brought to mind an instance in a Bible study that was revealing to me. I did not understand what was happening at the time but it left a mark in my mind about the Bible. The teacher wanted to compare a verse so he asked the class to read from different versions. The class read from about six different modern-day versions and the outcome was disastrous. Instead of making sense each verse read was as different as the day is from the night. It sounded like confusion, and even the teacher with his puzzled look could not go forward with an explanation. He left that one alone. It was not political correctness that stole the meaning, it was something called copyright. When you are pressured to keep a reading difference of between 10-15% from the next book and the next book, and the next book, and the next… this is what you get, it is called confusion. This is the second reason why I stay away from copyrighted bibles, they are confused between each other.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS & God’s word
We believe the King James Bible was indeed influenced by the king of the time. Why? To protect how he was seen by his subjects. This is why when we study any Bible (root being Majority text), we should have a concordance to examine the original words behind the translated words. For example the word “church.”
(Matt 16:18 [KJV])
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Church (some say preferred by the king) or is the better word CONGREGATION/ASSEMBLY (of the Called out ones) = G1577 ἐκκλησία ekklesia (ek-klee-siy’-a) n.
1. (literally) a “calling out.” (see H4744 for usage in Israel).
2. (concretely, of Greece) an assembly of citizens (as called out by the town crier for a specific purpose).
3. (specifically, of Jesus) a called out assembly of the Redeemed of Jesus (Yeshua).
4. (specially, of Jesus) the citizenry of the Redeemed of Jesus whether being on earth or in heaven or both.
5. (of ancient continuity) a called out assembly (of the Redeemed Kinsmen of Yahweh— out of captivity; see Nehemiah 8:8, then Exodus 6:6, Exodus 15:13).
6. (Note #1) (“called out assembly” is first used by context in the Old Covenant in Nehemiah 8:8, Isaiah 1:13, Isaiah 4:5).
7. (Note #2) (some of the Septuagint translators did not recognize and grasp this Hebraic context, and they mistranslated the Hebrew and also frequently misapplied this Greek word elsewhere, obscuring and distorting its meaning and application).
{used only of people, not a location, structure, etc. Of Christ, used only of the Redeemed, not of the unredeemed in their midst}
[from a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564]
KJV: assembly, church
— —
Let us look at the word the Tyndale used (root comes from the Majority text).
(Matthew 16:18 [Tyndale])
18 And I saye also vnto the yt thou arte Peter: and apon this rocke I wyll bylde my congregacion. And the gates of hell shall not prevayle ageynst it.
Some say that king James wanted the word church in place of congregation and or assembly. Note; the Geneva Bible (1587) used the word “church” and it predates KJV (1611-1769). At the end of the day, a trustworthy concordance with the root words and meanings will help you spot the political influence in your study (if any).
WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO ADD OR TAKE AWAY (DIMINISH) FROM GODS WORD. It is written.
(Deut 4:2 [KJV])
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
—
(Deut 12:32 [KJV])
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
—
(Rev 22:18-19 [KJV])
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Just remember, TTGM strongly recommends using translated Bibles that are based on the Majority text and are not influenced by copyright.

GOD VALIDATED HIS WORD (CODES)*
God validated His word. In the Old Testament (OT) manuscripts, He added Equidistant Letter Sequencing. No other written work in the world has this feature. In the New Testament (NT) manuscripts, He added the Heptadic Structure. Again, no other written work in the world has this feature.
The OT manuscripts are called the Masoretic Text, and the NT manuscripts come from the Syria region. These are His words that He PRESERVED. To learn more about His CODES, visit this page – tap/click.
