Matt 25:13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Before this verse the subject of the texts relates to marriage, it is the time the Groom arrives for His bride. In Jewish tradition at the time of the Groom’s arrival, no one will know the day nor hour, it is an idiom.

The phrase “No man knows the day nor the hour” (from Matthew 25:13) is often interpreted literally in Christian theology as a statement about the uncertainty of the timing of Christ’s return. However, some scholars and Messianic Jewish teachers have pointed out that this phrase is also a well-known Jewish idiom tied specifically to the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah, also known as Rosh Hashanah).
Here’s the background:
1. The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)

It is the first of the Fall feasts on the Jewish calendar.

It occurs on the first day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei, which begins with the new moon.

Unlike other feasts that fall on full moons (which are easier to predict), the new moon had to be visibly confirmed by two witnesses who reported to the Sanhedrin.

Because of this, no one could say exactly when it would begin—hence, it became known as the feast where “no one knows the day nor the hour.”

2. The Idiom in Jewish Culture

Ancient Jewish rabbis and communities used this exact phrase, “no one knows the day or the hour,” in connection with the Feast of Trumpets.

It was a playful yet meaningful saying among the people, recognizing the uncertainty and anticipation around the exact start of the feast.

3. Jesus’ Use of the Phrase

When Jesus said in Matthew 25:13, “for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh,” many believe He was subtly pointing His Jewish listeners to the Feast of Trumpets.

For a Jewish audience familiar with the idiom, this would hint that His return could be linked to this feast—without stating it outright.

UNDERSTANDING THE DAY AND THE HOUR

Pt 1 explains how “That Day” relates to the earth and a heaven passing away.
He speaks of THAT DAY to come at the end of 1000 yr period.
Matt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

 Pt 3 speaks to watching for the coming Groom.
He speaks of the Groom’s coming at the time of marriage (exodus). It is the time that we are to watch for the new moon, for it will mark the coming of our King (Feast of Trumpets).

We are called to watch. As the bride we are commanded to watch.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

WHY WE SHARE JOSHUA’S MESSAGE?

These are the key points that merited these presentations on TTGM.

1. Joshua’s humility. A simple man sent to share a message.

2. After receiving the message, he had to study to understand the full picture. He did understand and shared it like a master. Study His word to be approved. 

3. We know that we are already in the opening of the seals (Pt 1 and Pt 2 explains more)

4. We know that the fulfillment of the first four feast have been completed already. We know His return will be on the Feast of Trumpets.  More on the Feast. 

5. We know that from 1948, add 77 years will bring us to the year 2025. 7 is a significant number in God’s book.

6. We know 2000 years stared at 32AD and this brings us to the year 2032. Take away 7 years of Tribulation (God’s wrath) brings us to 2025. 

7.  Jacob/Israel was about 77 years old when he arrived in Haran and married Rachel (1 week after Leah) – 2025. After about 7 years Jacob returned to the promise land – 2032. 1948 (+77) brings us to 2025 – the church is called away to be with Yeshua/King. 2025 (+7). brings us to 2032 – Yeshua returns to His land to reign with His people.

8. When I (Bajan Eagle) was 17 yrs old, I saw our King coming in the clouds. This I know, He is coming in my lifetime.
