The following is a response to a friend (Cumberbatch) who says to TTGM that believers can eat anything including unclean flesh.
Understanding how Acts 10 shows the meaning of the vision that Peter received.
Here is the post that Cumberbatch responded to that was sent out by TTGM on December 23, 2023.

Apologist Response to Cumberbatch
Completed by TTGM – 24.12.2023
Cumberbatch wrote (CW) the following in response to the above post:
Part 1
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things– Genesis 9:3 – One has choices – you live by the consequences of your choices
Part 2
Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power. 1 Corinthians 6:12 – you are going back to the food laws for the Jews Bro
Of course not everything is good for you to eat, obviously, but its your choice. Food is a cultural thing – people eat all kinds of things in many countries, including a variety of insects –
– Listen to Jesus Bro
Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them
After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about this parable. “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)
20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” Mark 7:14-25
In summary, it’s not external factors that defile us, but our inner thoughts, intentions, and actions that truly matter. Your choice to eat what you want to your own consequence.

TTGM’s Response (TR):
My answer will be based on the Book of books and not what man thinks or feels. As believers, we must make up our minds if we will keep the commandments of God. The commandments are contained in the law/Torah of God. The law is perfect and it is the standard man must live by. If any part of the law is transgressed it is SIN.
(Ps 19:7 [KJY])
The law of the LORD is PERFECT, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
(1John 3:4 [KJV])
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

TR:
Yes, we have a choice to do or not to do. We have a choice to sin or not to sin. We have a choice to choose life or to choose death (the wages of sin is death). Peter did not believe he should eat unclean flesh and by extension, Yeshua and the “righteous” population of Israel did not eat unclean flesh (to this day). Peter knew what God said about eating unclean flesh and he kept the commandment. It is written.
(Lev 11:7-8 [KJV])
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
—
Now we have one commandment that says we can eat every living thing that moves and another that states we should NOT eat unclean flesh. Peter obeyed the commandment stated in Lev 11:7-8. The church-building people ignore the Liv 11:7-8 commandment and hold to Gen 9:3. Why would Peter hold to Lev 11?
Again, why or what is the difference?
Things were far different in the book of Genesis. For example, men on average lived for over 500 years. Due to sin, mankind and the world degraded into a shorter lifespan that was filled with diseases and earlier deaths. Again, why Peter did not obey the commandment in Gen 9:3? The reason why Peter obeyed the commandment that spoke to unclean flesh is because it came AFTER Gen 3 (Gen is before Lev). In law, we look at the last pronouncement that follows (in law the last pronouncement overrides the first). This is what Peter and ALL the apostles did. They kept out of sin by keeping the commandment (Lev 11).
Degrading of all life:
In the beginning, all life was created GOOD. There were no unclean creatures in the beginning. Adam lived to as much as 900 years of age. Due to the fallen nature of man, all creation became cursed (Rom 8:20-22). The flesh of certain animals became unclean, hence the reason why God gave the commandment in Lev 11.
Another example of change: Brothers and sisters were able to marry each other at the beginning of man’s existence (mankind started with Adam and Eve only). God then gave instructions to stop incestual relationships (Leb 18-7 and read on).

Do you really think Paul was saying that SIN is lawful for us to do? Do you think that Paul was giving permission to live in iniquity/sin? Read Paul on iniquity.
(2Tim 2:19 [KJV])
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
—
God’s law/Truth makes us FREE. Sin ENSLAVES us (We are the servants of sin when we practice it).
We are to love the law of God.
(Ps 119:113 [KJV])
SAMECH. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
(John 8:34 [KJV])
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Brother, the Law was NOT given to the Jews. Why? There were no Jews around when the law was given. Jews turned up in 2Kings, they were not in Moses’ time (they became known as Jews after the return from the Babylonian Exile). The Law was given to the people of God (Israel).

Again, Yeshua was NOT giving permission to transgress the commandments of God by eating unclean flesh (into a man’s belly). This is why Peter knew not to eat unclean flesh. Yeshua was speaking to Jews and they knew what He meant. You see you must put yourself in the mind of a Jew to understand these verses. In the same way, you do not see roaches/rats as meat/food, a Jew does not see unclean flesh/pork as meat/food. In other words, when we talk about food, roaches, vultures, and rats do not come into our minds.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This written text “(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)” was never stated/written by the original writer of the gospel. This was stuck in there by the NIV translators to support their twisted doctrine of unclean flesh was made clean by Yeshua. You need to study NEW AGE Bible corruption to find out what is going on – here is a start
This is how it reads.
(Mark 7:19 [KJV])
Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
The statement was added to the NIV corrupted book.
(Mark 7:19[NIV]) For it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer.” (This means all foods are clean.)

TR:
Yes, different cultures eat different things. HOWEVER, the children of God eat according to the standard given to us by our God by His commandments. Cultures do what seems right in their own eyes, this is why we call them pagan. We as believers should do right in the eyes of our God. To not obey our God’s commandments/law is to live in iniquity. And if we work iniquity, He says this would be our reward – it is written.
Under the Old Covenant, He says.
(Ps 6:8 [KJV])
Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Under the New Covenant, He says.
(Matt 7:23 [KJV])
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
