TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL MINISTRY

Who are the Gentiles?

The following is a response to a friend (Lee) who says to TTGM that the Gentiles are from the nation of Jacob ONLY and the children of Esau (whites) should not be called to repentance.

Apologist Response to Lee

Completed by TTGM – 26.12.2023
Updated by TTGM – 06.01.2024 | 25.08.2024

Lee wrote (LW) that Esau is a different nation and the message of salvation is not for the white people of Esau. Why? Esau is a different nation and the message should only be for the people/nation of Jacob (blacks)

TTGM’s Response (TR):

TTGM does not believe that God’s message is only for the nation of Israel. We do not believe that the gentile nation only consists of Israelites. Here Peter was shown by God to go and minister to DIFFERENT nations. Read.

Peter is shown he can minister to people from another nation (including Esau/whites)
(Acts 10:280 [KJV])
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

We show it from the KJV 1611 version.
(Acts 10:28 [KJV 1611])
And he said vnto them, Ye know how that it is an vnlawfull thing for a man that is a Iewe, to keepe company or come vnto one of another nation: but God hath shewed me, that I should not call any man common or vncleane.

Peter tells us that God does not differentiate between people of different nations. As long as you fear God and keep His commandments you are accepted. It is written.
(Acts 10:34-35 [KJV])
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

(Acts 10:34-35 [KJV 1611])
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a trueth I perceiue that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in euery nation, he that feareth him, and worketh righteousnesse, is accepted with him.

HERE WE SHOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LOST TRIBE AND THE GENTILES.
Yeshua in His ministry shows the difference.
(Matt 10:5-6 [KJV])
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go NOT into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

THREE RECOGNIZED GROUPS LIVE IN THE REGION – 1. LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL | 2. SAMARITANS  | 3. GENTILES
The three groups are mentioned here (apostles sent to the lost sheep) – Read
(Matt 10:5-6 [KJV])
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

We show Paul sent to the Gentiles /REM Peter was told by God to minister to the Gentiles – Read
(Eph 3:1 [KJV]}
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

CORNELIUS WAS FROM ANOTHER NATION (HE WAS A GENTILE)
Cornelius was a gentile, a man from another nation. Read
(Acts 10:25-28 [KJV])
And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. 26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. 27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. 28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Cornelius was a man from another nation who BECAME a Jew by practicing the customs of the Jews. He was not the first to become a Jew. Read.
(Esth 8:17 [KJV])
And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king’s commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land BECAME Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Examining the GRAMMAR for those who still have not got it.

In the verses (Acts 25-28), we identify the SUBJECT and the DESCRIPTION of the subject.
The Subject –  Cornelius
The Description of the Subject – Cornelius is from another nation;

To say or teach that Cornelius is from the nation of Israel is a lie.

A GENTILE IS A MEMBER OF A FOREIGN NATION
To teach that Gentiles are made up of the lost sheep of Israel is an error. Why? The word is first mentioned in Gen 10:5 (the meaning of a word is determined at first mention). This is the time of Nimrod. There was no Hebrew Nation yet and the lost tribes are far removed from this period. It is written.
(Gen 10:5 [KJV])
By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Strong’s
Gentiles
= H1471 גּוֹי גּוֹי gowy (go’-ee) (rarely (shortened) goy {go’-ee}) n-m.
1. a foreign nation
2. (hence) a Gentile
3. (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts
[apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing)]
KJV: Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

We have a gentile state of mind

TR:

It is more important to accept what the Bible shows us and get a mind for the Book.

TTGM understands that some Hebrew Israelites do not read the New Testament. If this applies to you we will show you what the Old Testament says about the nations.

(Isa 52:10 [KJV])
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of ALL the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Why would all the earth see the salvation of our God? It is called love (nb. the nations make up the world). It is written.
(John 3:16 [KJV])
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

ONE FROM ANOTHER NATION WAS HELPED BY OUR KING

Here is the question to TTGM.
Q.
This is a question someone asked during our fellowship services.

Mathews 15:26 – He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs”.

√ Children’s food (bread)!
√ Dogs!

When the bible talks of children’s foods (bread)
and
When the Bible talks of Dogs.

How do you understand this verse?
—- —
TTGM’s Answer.
A.
What was Yeshua saying?
The children’s bread is the word of God and if you are in it (following it), with it comes God’s benefits. The children are God’s people. Who are they? They are the people that number the tribe that was lost (Israel). Israel was divorced by God (not Judah).

Who were the dogs? Yeshua was sent to the lost children (sheep) of Israel. The dogs were the people who were not part of Israel (gentiles/other nations).

Yeshua was sent for the lost tribe. He said.
Matt 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Yeshua acknowledged the “dog” and gave her what she wanted. Why was she recognized? Her faith. Faith gets God’s attention; faith brings you into a relationship with the Most High. Faith is what allows the Children and the dog (graffed – Rom 11: 17-25) into God’s Kingdom.

She got some bread (crumbs) from the table because of her faith.
Matt 15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
