Description 

Here are the events after the great tribulation. The beginning of the rapture/Exodus.

1. After the Tribulation.
2. The elect’s days in the great tribulation will be shortened. 
   a) If the elect are not in the Great Tribulation, why must the days be shortened for them?
3. The sun is darkened, and the moon no longer gives light.
4. The stars will fall from Heaven.
5. The Son shall appear in heaven/sky/clouds.
6. Sending of angels to gather His elect from the earth.
7. The dead shall be raised first.
8. The people who are alive at His appearing, their bodies will be changed.
9. IMPORTANT: In Rev 6:9 the word says the moon turns to blood. This is not in keeping with the other mentions. 

Old Testament Mention

(Isa 13:10 [KJV])
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to  shine.

New Testament Mention 

(Matt 24:21-22 [KJV])
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days (days of great tribulation) should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

(Matt 24:29-31 [KJV])
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

For in those days shall be affliction (tribulation), such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

Note: The following “that tribulation” is the same word “affliction” (tribulation = affliction = θλίψις thlipsis)

But in those days, after that tribulation (affliction), the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

After the above, then Yeshua appears in the clouds to meet his elect in the air.

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
