COMMENTARY
ON
WHO ARE THE MANY AND THE FEW IN SCRIPTURE?
(Matt 7:22-23 [KJV])
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
God’s word is directed at His own people. His word describes two groups referred to as the Few and the Many (not Christians and non-Christians, not saved or unsaved). Again, there is the Many (means majority in the Greek) and the Few. Here we show what happens to these two groups and why.

Before you read on keep this verse as your point of reference. It is written.

For many are called, but few are chosen.
HERE IS THE SHORT ANSWER THAT SHOWS WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE GROUPS:
He (Yeshua/Jesus) said to keep His commandments. If we do not keep His commandments, we work iniquity. It is written.
(John 14:15 [KJV])
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
(Matt 7:23 [KJV])
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
The UNBELIEVERS do not love Him (Yeshua) and do not care anything about his commandments – Hell for them.
The MANY say they love/know Him but do not keep His commandments. (not keeping His commandments is called iniquity Matt 7:22-23) – Destination hell. Watch these presentations of Christians that went to hell and returned.
The FEW love Him and keep His commandments; they obey His word – Destination, the Kingdom of God.

THE LONG ANSWER FOLLOWS:
THE FEW (chosen):
Let us first look at what happens to the Few and what they do – they the Few, keep the commandments of God. – it is written.
(John 14:15 [KJV])
if ye love me, keep my commandments.
The Few are the “true” saints of God; the commandments of God is their patience (endurance). It is written.
(Rev 14:12 [KJV])
Here is the patience of the saints (Few): here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Here a young man asked Yeshua (Jesus) what he must do to get eternal life. Yeshua said to him. It is written.
(Matt 19:17 [KJV])
And he (Yeshua) said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life (eternal life), keep the commandments.
Our Lord went on to say, to be PERFECT, the young man must follow (faith) Him (Yeshua).

We (TTGM) the few do and teach the commandments – it is written.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them (commandments), the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Here is the destination of the Few. It is written.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life (eternal life), and FEW there be that find it (eternal life).

Before we move on to describe the Many, TTGM will make a point on doctrine.
The Many read Paul’s letters on faith and law (commandments) and they teach that the law is for the Jews only. This is a gross misinterpretation of scripture. In fact, in the book of Romans after Paul shared on the superior nature of faith (only by faith can we be saved), he said that we should continue (establish means to continue in the Greek, with emphasis) the law. He also says, “God forbid” to even think about abolishing the law. It is written.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish (continue) the law.
In conclusion:
The Few continue in the law/commandments of God and they do and teach them.
Next, the Many

THE MANY (called – not chosen):
Quick recap:
The Few = They say they love Christ and they keep His commandments = They say they love Christ and live in obedience to His commandments = Destination, the Kingdom of God.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY.
Again, what is iniquity? Transgression of God’s law (nb: God’s law consists of commandments/ also known as the Torah). Why TTGM says they are churchgoers? The people in the world do not call on the Lord’s name to cast out devils, only the church people.
So the difference between the Many and the Few, is that the “Many” DO NOT keep God’s commandments (they work iniquity). The “Few” keep the commandments (they DO NOT work iniquity).
One more time; the Many disobey this word (they do not keep the commandments = iniquity).

IMPORTANT: God’s word is concise. Every word used in the book of God has its own specific meaning and not to be confused with each other.
The word SCRIPTURE as used in the New Testament only refers to the Old Testament books (Torah or the prophets). Why? When the word was spoken or written in the New Testament period, there were no New Testament books/letters. The people living then had no clue about the New Testament as we have it today.
Why?
The first New Testament book was written about 32AD, the books were compiled in about 382AD and they were put in print around 1000-1400AD. What was written in the NT times was called EPISTLES and GOSPELS (again, not to be confused with the word scripture). Scripture always referred to the Torah or the prophets and epistles/gospels referred to the letters written by the apostles to the new believers in Yeshua. Do the epistles/gospels have the same authority as scripture? Yes, they do, the men writing them were filled and moved by the Holy Ghost to write them (see 2 Pet : 3:16).
What do you think these noble men were using to know what was right or wrong to do?

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures (Torah only because there was no NT) daily, whether those things were so.

All scripture (only Torah, there was no NT) is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

THE COMMANDMENTS (What commandments is our Lord talking about?) – Pt 1:
A quick recap:
The World = They do not love Christ and do not keep His commandments = Destination Hell.
The Many = They say they love Christ but DO NOT keep His commandments = They say they love Christ but they live in disobedience to His commandments = Destination Hell
The Many are also known as, goats/ they do not keep the commandments/law and they will be rejected.
The Few = They say they love Christ and they KEEP His commandments = They say they love Christ and live in *obedience* to His commandments = Destination, the Kingdom of God.
The Few are also known as, sheep/ they will be told enter in thou good and faithful servant/ They Keep the Commandments.
Question:
What group do you belong to, the Few or the Many?

Can the Few keep the commandments perfectly? NO, they cannot. As long as you start keeping the Commandments, the Holy Ghost will be sent to seal, comfort and help you succeed. It comes in verse 16. It is the Holy Ghost that gives you the perfection needed and He will be with you forever (this is the Born Again experiance). It is written.

If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter (Holy Ghost), that he may abide with you for ever;
Question:
If you do not keep His commandments, do you think He will pray you get the comforter?

TTGM asks everyone to answer the following question. Why question? Questions get people thinking. What they first find out is that they do not know what Christ meant by “commandments”.
What commandments is our Lord referring to here?

If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- Torah (The first five books in the Bible written by Moses)
- Two commandments (Love God and Love your neighbour as thyself)
- Only the commandments in the New Testament
- Only the Ten Commandments written on the tablets (-ve one if you are not a seventh day Adventist)
Most people answer 2, 3 and 4. Then the next question we ask is to show us the scripture that supports their answer. Here is where they go quiet. Why? THERE IS NO SCRIPTURE THAT SUPPORTS 2, 3 AND 4.
RULE TO REMEMBER: If there is no scripture to support a statement made, IT IS A DOCTRINE OF MAN AND NOT OF GOD.
And it is written..
(Acts 5:29 [KJV])
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

The answer is 1.
- Torah (The first five books in the Bible written by Moses)
In the Torah God gave us His commandments by His Word. Who is His Word? Yeshua (Jesus) is the Word of God; the Torah is the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD.The Word was written first in the Torah (or the prophets) and then He came and lived with us. This is why He is called the LIVING WORD OF GOD.
When the living word of God walked among men, He usually quoted from the written word – Torah or the prophets (Himself).
So when He said.
(John 14:15 [KJV])
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
He was quoting from here.(Exod 20:6 [KJV])
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
And here.
(Deut 5:10 [KJV])
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
And here.
(Deut 7:9 [KJV])
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him (God/Yeshua) and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
The commandments are in the Torah. Our Lord Yeshua quoted from the Torah. Why? He is the Torah/Word.

There are over 500+ commandments in the Torah/Word. The MANY do not study the word to know them, so they work iniquity.
Why and how did today’s church moved away from the Torah to what we have now? A Jewish Yeshua was turned into a Gentile Jesus – Watch presentation 1. It reveals how the early church fathers (and Roman church) felt about the Hebrews/ Jews /the Way.
Who or what is the Way? It is written.
(John 14:6 [KJV])
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Our Lord was identifying with this verse. It is written.
(Ps 86:11 [KJV])
Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

The Commandments (The Structure of the Commandments) – Pt 2
A quick recap:
The word of God is about God’s Kingdom NOT RELIGION (The MANY practice religion).
Yeshua’s message did not say seek ye first to be a Catholic, Anglican, Pentecostal, Protestant, Lutheran, Mormon etc. He said seek ye first the Kingdom of God. When you seek to live in the Kingdom of God, this makes you a citizen. It is written.
(Matt 6:33 [KJV])
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
You are now a citizen after you have found the Kingdom. It is written.
(Eph 2:19 [KJV])
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
God’s Kingdom consists of the following:
Love (God’s Kingdom is based on Love; for God is Love)
King (Yeshua/Jesus)
Domain (God rules over His domain, both in His place and in the hearts of the FEW)
Law (God’s commandments He has asked us to Keep; representative of his righteousness). ALL countries (Domains) have law/commandments.
Citizens (the FEW are the citizens of His Kingdom along with angels)
A King-Dom is ruled by a King (Yeshua) over His Domain (land, territory, within us) and there is a law that is to be kept. The King’s law (commandments are contained in that law) is what He asks His citizens to keep (John14:15).

The Structure of the Commandments:
First, we will start with a secular example of the law so that you can better understand it. TTGM will use the traffic law as a comparison to God’s law.
Primary or First Commandment:
Thou shalt stay safe on the Roads of Barbados/ USA/ UK/ CAN.
General Commandment:
Thou shalt not exceed the speed limit.
Specific to the commandment:
When on h/way 5 you must not exceed 50 kph. When on h/way 7 you must not exceed 80 kph.

Now let us look at God’s law (primary, general and specific commandments).
Primary or First Commandment:
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
General Commandment (10 written on the tablets):
Thou shalt not steal.
Specific to the commandment:
If a person steals and is caught, he should return plus additional to what was stolen from the victim etc (there is more, read Exod 22.1).
The example given above can be applied to every law written on the tablets. God gave us specifics to keep for every commandment written on the tablets. What happens is that the MANY do not know or follow the specifics and they end up doing what seems right in their own eyes (sin/iniquity).
In conclusion:
When you do not keep the specifics to the general law, you work iniquity/lawless because you have transgressed what God said you should do (sin).
Here is one present Eg: Churches are now “marrying” men with men, they transgress this law. It is written.
(Lev 18:22 [KJV])
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: *it is abomination.

The specifics in the law:
First example: The MANY transgress the specifics of the law on adultery every day; without knowing it. Why do they transgress the specifics to the law? Again, they are not taught by their leaders what sin is. People today do not even know what marriage is, thanks to the law implemented by the pope in the year 1563.
Because of this 1563 law, the sin of adultery is so prolific that our Lord mentions it first on His return. It is written.(Mark 8:38 [KJV])
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Again, out of all the sins, He highlights the sin of adultery. And remember, no adulterer will get into God’s Kingdom.. NONE. It is written.
(1Cor 6:9 [KJV])
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

As mentioned before, here is another specific to the law that is not followed. You may or may not know it but more and more of the MANY are “marrying” men with men. They will tell the world that it is approved by God. What they do is transgress the specific law that speaks to that sin (they work iniquity). It is written.

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Here is an interesting one. The MANY will tell you that you do not have to obey the law, it is for the Jews only. Yet, they will go to the law and say you are robbing God if you do not give a tithe of your financial income. This is another lie they push, but why do they do it? FOR THE MONEY. If you read the law on tithing, you will see it is for the Priest that officiated over the temple; nothing to do with today’s believers (it was for the giving of food for the storehouse etc) – READ and watch presentations on tithing . There is no law or request made by God to His body of believers in Christ to tithe. Should we not give to help and assist each other? Of course yes, here is the word on what we should do. It is written.
(2Cor 9:6-7 [KJV])
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
What is the text saying? What is in your heart to do, do it (purposeth in his heart). If it is not in your heart to do, do not do it, but if you do give, give not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. DO IT CHEERFULLY.
TTGM would encourage you at this point to consider reading the specifics of the law and get acquainted with the word of God; so that you know what sin is. Do it and teach it. Join the Few.

At this point, we would like for you to carry out your own personal observation.
Until now we have shown the importance of the commandments; Yeshua said to keep them, their structure and how they are to be used (Primary, general and specifics etc). We have also shown you how the Many will be told to depart for the working of iniquity (not keeping the commandments).
We ask you now to be the observer of the world called Christianity.
– Listen to the preachers; they say little or nothing about keeping God’s commandments.
– Bible study; there is little or nothing taught about keeping God’s commandments. (other than the 10 on the tablets).
– Motivational Christian messages, videos and songs; there is little or nothing portrayed about keeping God’s commandments.
– Christian yearly holidays: there is little or nothing mentioned about the keeping of God’s commandments.
Question:
Why do you think there is little or nothing said about the keeping of God’s commandments, why the absence?

Five hundred plus: These commandments detail how to keep the ten. They also detail what should be done if the Ten Commandments are not kept.
Here is the list of the five hundred plus commandments.
Note on the commandments as you read them: All of God’s commandments are based on LOVE. As you read each commandment, ask yourself where is the love in this? If you do not keep a commandment of God, it is called sin (sin is the opposite of love, which is hate. So if you do not keep the commandments you are demonstrating hate). We pray as you learn what is written that you do and teach them as instructed (Matt 5:19).
Note: The commandments must be studied and applied to our lives for the present day. The Few are commanded to do and teach them to others. It is written.

The Few are to go to the nations and teach them.

Go ye therefore, and teach (the commandments – Matt 5:19) all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
The MANY do not follow the specifics of the law. They are told about the 10 general commandments (Adventist 10, the rest of the Many only 9) but they are never told about the other commandments that link to them. So the Many work sin/iniquity.

Will you believe the *WORD OF GOD* or the MANY? – Pt 3
The MANY say the law cannot be followed; there are too many commandments to keep. TTGM says this is a lie; we are able to keep the commandments every day (we know them). Look here, the scripture says that people can keep them blameless. It is written. The word of God says about John’s parents…
(Luke 1:6 [KJV])
And they were both righteous before God, walking in ALL the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
The MANY also say the commandments are too hard (burdensome) for the believer to keep. Again, TTGM says this is a lie; we are able to keep the commandments every day without having to sweat. It is written. The word of God says…
(1John 5:3 [KJV])
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are NOT grievous (burdensome).
Again, who are you going to believe, the Many or the WORD OF GOD?

IMPORTANT: The commandments should be moved to the heart and hidden there. Why? It is in the heart that sin starts. So with the commandments in your heart, when temptation comes, you are better able to fight it. Go read when Christ was tempted by satan, you will see that with every temptation, Christ responded from the Torah. He was tempted three times and He responded three times from the Torah. In the heart the commandments should be kept. It is written.

Thy word (commandments) have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
At this point, if you are still with us, you are encouraged to read Psalms 119 (slowly).

Love and commandments, how it works – Pt 4
The MANY show their love by doing wonderful works. They sing, worship, pray for long hours, give money, visit the sick, help the poor, build churches and many other things. But what happens to this Love to God? They will be told to depart from His presence. It is written.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works* 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
SO HOW DOES GOD WANT HIS CHILDREN TO SHOW LOVE TO HIM?
When Yeshua asked us to love Him, He did not say to feel good towards Him, to sing to Him, to worship Him, to pray long and hard etc. Out of Love for Him our Lord expects us to show it by …. It is written.
(John 14:15 [KJV])
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Answer: If you are going to love God, you have to show it by keeping His commandments. In other words, keeping His commandments is showing love to God. It is written.
(John 14:21 [KJV])
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

So, if you DO NOT KEEP His commandments, How does God see it (you)? ANSWER: He will see it as you not loving Him. It is written.
(John 14:23-24 [KJV])
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words (His words are to keep His commandments): and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me NOT keepeth not my sayings (His sayings are to keep His commandments): and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

Look at this one. People that say they know Yeshua and do not keep His commandments are called liars and the Truth is not in them. It is written.
(1John 2:4 [KJV])
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth NOT his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The commandments are the ones that He has given us from the beginning (Torah); again all His commandments are associated with love. It is written.
(2John 1:6 [KJV])
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
SUMMARY: If you follow all the commandments that reflect Love to God you have loved.

SO HOW DO THE CHILDREN OF GOD SHOW LOVE TO EACH OTHER?
As children of God, here is the secret to successful relationships (eg: marriage, brother to brother to sister, Mother to son, friend to friend etc). The children of God should show love to each other in the same way they show love to God. How? By loving God (Yeshua) and keeping His Commandments. It is written.
(1John 5:2-3 [KJV])
By this we know that we love the children of God (each other), when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
SUMMARY: If you follow all the commandments that reflect Love to your neighbour and self, you have loved.
In conclusion:
If you Love Yeshua, you will keep His commandments (the FEW); your eternity will be in the Kingdom of God.
If you say you Love/know Yeshua and DO NOT keep His commandments, you are a Liar and the Truth is not in you (the MANY). So no matter how many wonderful works you do in the name of the Lord, you will be told to depart from His presence; your eternity will be in HELL.
REM: LOVE TO GOD IS REFLECTED IN YOUR OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD (KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS)
As mentioned earlier by observation, you will notice that the one requirement we are asked to keep by Yeshua (commandments), is left out of ministry to the believer and each other – LEAVING THE MANY TO WORK INIQUITY.
