We start with God’s people being destroyed for lack of knowledge because they rejected it. The question is, why are we destroyed for rejecting knowledge?
(Hos 4:6 [KJV])
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

What is this thing called knowledge and how does it relate to God? When we fear God our knowledge begins. It is written.
(Prov 1:7 [KJV])
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The Bible is talking about God’s knowledge/Word.

FOLLOW THE LOGIC WITH US
God wants His people to know and understand Him. When we do what He says based on our understanding we are accepted by Him. Some of you may need to pause for about two minutes and think about what was just written before we go further.

If you lack the knowledge or have rejected it, how will you know what is required? THE DECISIONS IN YOUR LIFE WILL BE IN ERROR. 

Exp. TTGM shared God’s word on marriage the other day with pastors and some Christians. Here is the paper on marriage. Did the people of God (My People) reject this knowledge? Again, after reading the paper do you reject it? Have you accepted it to be true but refused to change your ways to God’s truth? Will you continue with your error? You do not care to know the truth, it does not concern you? How you answer these questions will determine if you really have a fear for the God of Glory.

We at TTGM suggest that when Truth is known (knowledge), you should change your way to the way of our Lord. Do not reject Truth/knowledge when it becomes known, God will not be mocked.

The many have rejected God’s knowledge and they live their lives following the commandments of men. His grace will not be applied. It is written.

(Matt 20:16 KJV]) For many are called
So the last shall be first, and the first last: for MANY be called, but few chosen.

(Matt 7:22-23 [KJV]) For many will be told to depart to hell
MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Matt 15:9 [KJV]) For the many worship Him in vain
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

GOD APPLIES HIS GRACE HERE
People who know and acquire more of God’s knowledge do this to serve Him to the best of their ability. The decisions in their life are based on the word of God. When they are confronted with TRUTH (truth = knowledge) that they do not have, they change from their error and fall in line with God’s word. By His commandment, they will ALSO seek to correct others. 

Many of our Christian fathers and mothers who have passed on, loved God in the way described. They would have changed from the greco-roman doctrines in a heartbeat if the truth had been revealed to them. God’s word/truth/knowledge would not have been rejected. God knows these people and He made a provision for them that lived in errors. It is called GRACE. In short, as long as your will is to please God IN HIS WAY, His grace will be applied to you to ensure your salvation.

If you have not submitted your entire will to God, you will not get His gift of Grace. REM: “Not my will, but your will be done.”

We cannot control ignorance but we can determine what knowledge we reject. 

Three crosses – One giver of life met two men. One man was at odds with the giver, while the other man was in total submission. His only request was to, “remember him.” He was not saved by his works, but by his submission to the giver of life. By Grace he was saved.
