TTGM’s main contributor was having a discussion with a friend about the word and showing her what we have been told by the mainstream church leaders/teachers was not true. While they spoke, she asked the question, what is the point? At the time she was given a half answer, but it got him thinking. TTGM has decided to give a full answer to everyone. We thank and appreciate JP for the inspiration for this article.

REALLY, WHAT IS THE POINT?
Why we do what we do, what point are we trying to make? What we have found is that most people in Christendom do not care too much about what they believe. What do we mean? Yes, they believe in Jesus and yes they believe what they hear about Him and what to do; but how do they know what they believe is true? If this question is asked, the Christian goes no further to find out. They have accepted what they think is true and closed the door on anything that sounds different.  Here is the tragedy.

TTGM is going to show you the importance of knowledge and how it relates to your salvation. Again, this message is for the few that will make it into the Kingdom of God (many that say Lord Lord are on the broad road to destruction – more on the subject, the Many and the Few). As we usually do, we will make our point and then give the supporting scripture.

God is the Father of Truth, for he is Truth. It is written.
(John 14:6 [KJV])
Jesus (God) saith unto him, I am the WAY, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here David confirms what our Master says. God has the way and He has the Truth. It is written.
(Ps 86:11 [KJV])
Teach me thy WAY, O LORD; I will walk in thy TRUTH: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Now on the other side of the fence, there is satan. Notice he is called the father of lies (the first liar). It is written.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

As you can see, we have two diabolically opposed positions that we face each day. Truth vs Lies (God vs satan).

THE WEAPON
Given what we have said, you will realize that the only weapon satan has against the people (christians) is DECEPTION. He uses this weapon so skillfully that people become deceived without even knowing it. For example, the Jehovah’s Witnesses believe their way is “true” and everyone else is wrong, The SDAs, the Pentecostals, the Catholics, and many more. What these religions have in common is that they have different religious persuasions. What many do not comprehend about belief (knowledge) is that everyone can be wrong but only one can be right (true). In other words, you can have many different lies/interpretations/doctrines about the Bible but there can only be ONE TRUTH. The question is, how can we get to the truth, and is it important?

Yes, we can get to the truth. How? It takes study (what the many do not do). For more information on study read this page HERE 

Yes, it is important if you want God’s attention as you worship, it is written.
(Matt 15:9 [KJV])
But in VAIN they do worship me, *teaching for doctrines the commandments of men(nb. doctrines of men are lies)*.

Matt 15:9 is further supported by the following verse (John 4:23) that shows God only responds to those that are in His Spirit and in His TRUTH. THEREFORE IF YOU DO NOT COME TO HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, GOD WILL NOT SEEK AFTER YOU.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in TRUTH: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

If you do not have a desire to know what is true, there is a strong possibility you do not have the Spirit of God. Why? One of the fruits of the Spirit is Truth; it is written.

(For the FRUIT of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and TRUTH;)

WE HOPE BY NOW YOU ARE GETTING IT – GOD HATES LIES. TRUTH IS VITAL TO OUR SALVATION. IF SATAN DECEIVES YOU INTO BELIEVING WHAT IS NOT TRUE (doctrines of men), YOUR WORSHIP WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND POSSIBLY YOUR VERY SOUL WILL BE LOST FOR ALL ETERNITY. We pray you do not take what we say lightly. In fact, we are warned by Yeshua (Jesus) not to be deceived.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, *TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU*. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive MANY (The word many in the Greek is πολύς polus = majority).

There is that word again, “MANY” (Matt 24:5). It is the same word that is found in Matt 7:22.. and it reads.

MANY (πολύς polus = majority) will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

WE END HERE
OUR POINT is to share the TRUTH to the MANY (WE KNOW ONLY A FEW WILL LISTEN). We invite the many to challenge our conclusions and by the word show us our errors; if you cannot, let us go on together and hand in hand start the journey that will take us to our final destination, called truth. Truth is vital for it brings the correct knowledge and this is what we need, for it is written..

(Hos 4:6 [KJV]) – God wants us to get knowledge (the correct truthful knowledge)
My people are destroyed for lack of (true) knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

We have two questions for you to ask yourself.

1. Have I been deceived?

2. Do I care to find out if I have been deceived?

I can only encourage you to develop a love for the truth, and when you take hold of it, it will make you free.
