1st Witness in
the old Testament
This verse below tells us
that the Day of the Lord is coming in the future (when) and it comes with
destruction (what). Agrees with M1 and M2 views.
(Isa 13:6 [KJV])
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it
shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
---- ---- ----
This verse gives more about
what the Day of the Lord brings with it. Agrees with M1
and M2.
(Isa 13:9 [KJV])
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and
fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners
thereof out of it.
---- ---- ----
Now this verse gives us the
clues we need as to specifically
what to look for in the future. The clues are the stars of heaven and the constellations shall not give there light.
Also The sun shall go dark and the moon light will not shine.
The stars will not give their light. The world will both be dark in
the day and in the night. IMPORTANT: Note the
words, “in his going forth”. Who is “his?” Who is going forth at the
start of the signs of The Day of the Lord? We believe that it is our Lord
Yeshua that goes forth. Agrees with M2
and does not support M1.
(Isa 13:10 [KJV])
For the stars of
heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

2nd Witness
The following verse has
another clue regarding the moon turning to blood on the Day of the Lord.
It confirms that the sun will turn into darkness and the moon will take
on a blood look. So we conclude that the moon will not shine but will
have a blood look as well. Agrees with M1 and M2.
(Joel 2:31 [KJV])
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the
terrible day of the LORD come.
---- ---- ----
Here is mentioned that the people
of God will be delivered (hint of the rapture).
Agrees with M1 and M2.
(Joel 2:32 [KJV])
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on
the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in
Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant
whom the LORD shall call.

3rd Witness
Now we go to Amos and he
confirms one of the clues in Isaiah. The world will go dark. Agrees with M1 and M2.
(Amos 5:18 [KJV])
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the
day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
(Amos 5:19 [KJV])
As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or
went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit
him.
(Amos 5:20 [KJV])
Shall not the day of the
LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

4th Witness
Now we go to Zephaniah and
he confirms the following clues. The world will go dark(a day of darkness) . Agrees with M1 and M2.
(Amos 5:18 [KJV])
Woe unto you that desire the day of the
(Zeph 1:14 [KJV])
The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the
LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
(Zeph 1:15 [KJV])
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and
distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick
darkness,
(Zeph 1:16 [KJV])
A day of the trumpet and alarm against the
fenced cities, and against the high towers.
(Zeph 1:17 [KJV])
And I will bring distress upon men, that
they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the
LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the
dung.
(Zeph 1:18 [KJV])
Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to
deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be
devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy
riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

1st Witness in the New Testament
We have first mention of
the Great Tribulation in Matthew 24 and Yeshua’s warning to the believer
(the elect); that if the days are not shortened no flesh will be saved.
If you read the entire chapter, Yeshua gives a rundown of what will
happen in the future including the Great Tribulation, notice He goes on
to say that these days must be shortened. He is speaking to the believers
and not to people yet to be converted (as M1 teaches). Why this
observation? There is absolutely no mention of the elect being taken out
before the Great Tribulation, only that the days must be shortened (or they
all will be killed - no flesh spared). Again, there is also no mention of
people being saved during the Great Tribulation. In fact everything
mentioned in Matthew 24 is directed to the believer (elect) to
experience. These verses in Matthew 24 do not support the M1 view. M1
does not support the believer seeing the great tribulation. However M2
supports the elect seeing and going through the Great Tribulation as
stated in Matthew 24.
(Matt 24:21 [KJV])
For then shall be great
tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this
time, no, nor ever shall be.
(Matt 24:22 [KJV])
And except those days (What
days? The great tribulation days
for the elect/believer) should be shortened, there should no flesh be
saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be shortened. (TTGM: so the “living” elect will avoid extinction because the
days will be shorted for them –rapture)
---- ---- ----
Again notice after commenting on the
Great Tribulation Yeshua tells the believers, “Then if any man”.
Yeshua uses a sequence approach by using the word “then” that
follows after describing the Great Tribulation. Again this verse supports M2, as this view supports the elect
going through the Great Tribulation.
(Matt 24:23 [KJV])
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or
there; believe it not.
---- ---- ----
Now after Yeshua mentions
the Great Tribulation, He says in verse 29, “immediately after the
tribulation of those days”. What days are Yeshua
talking about? The days that He
mentioned before that ARE IN
SEQUENCE (then, then, then and then).
The sequence of events
includes the Great Tribulation period (those days). Again this verse supports M2 and not M1 viewpoint.
(Matt 24:29 [KJV])
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken:
---- ---- ----
DID YOU CATCH THE CLUES?
Two signs (sun and moon becoming dark) from the Old
Testament prophets are recorded here and they occur IMMEDIATELY after the tribulation (also including Great
Tribulation) and all the other events mentioned earlier in Matthew 24. Again this verse supports M2 and not M1.
(Matt 24:29 [KJV])
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her
light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of
the heavens shall be shaken:
---- ---- ----
Here we have another sign given
to us as soon as the sun and moon darken (darkness on the earth), the Son of man is coming in the clouds. All people (tribes) will see Him coming in clouds. The next sign is the elect being
gathered (rapture). Notice this is the same
elect that was mentioned earlier (if their days are not shortened no
flesh will be saved). The days for the elect are shorted because they are
removed from the earth. This is the rapture of the elect. Also we see the
Son of Man coming in the clouds, this could only be His going forth as mentioned in Isaiah
13:10. M1 view not supported because they believe the Son of man
will NOT be seen by all people. However, M2 view is supported because
everyone will see the Son of man.
(Matt 24:30 [KJV])
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in
heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son
of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and
great glory.
(Matt 24:31 [KJV])
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to
the other.
---- ---- ----
Notice another clue, the
trumpet sound to announce the gathering of the elect (Zeph
1:16). M1 not supported. Agrees with M2
(Matt 24:31 [KJV])
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the
other.

Other witnesses
Here we have what is
described as the specifics in the rapture event. Notice the trumpet
(clue) as mentioned earlier taking place to mark the event. The event? It
is the taking away of the elect (saints) at His coming. During/after the
signs in the sun and moon. These verses support M2. M1 not supported.
(1Cor 15:51 [KJV])
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed,
(1Cor 15:52 [KJV])
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
---- ---- ----
Another set of verses that
mention the rapture and the trumpet (clue) is sounded. Also we have the
meeting in the clouds (other clue to the event). The Lord is in the
clouds and His elect goes to meet Him where He is (in the air). These verses support M2. M1 not supported.
(1Thess 4:14 [KJV])
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring
with him.
(1Thess 4:15 [KJV])
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
them which are asleep.
(1Thess 4:16 [KJV])
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ
shall rise first:
(1Thess 4:17 [KJV])
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the
air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(1Thess 4:18 [KJV])
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Final Witness
As in Matthew 24:30 at the
start of The Lord’s Day all tribes (every eye) shall see Him (Yeshua). This verse
supports M2. M1 not supported. Reminder - M1 does not believe that every
eye shall see Him
(Rev 1:7 [KJV])
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which
pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth
shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
---- ---- ----
Here we have souls at the
altar of God that were killed asking when will their blood will be avenged? They are told that they must wait until more
must die before all is fulfilled (Matthew 24:9).
What happens next is at the opening of the six seal. The opening of the
six seal marks the fulfillment of the start of The Day of the Lord. The clues of the sun and
the moon as we have seen before mark the start of God’s wrath. Notice the people on earth know
this and make a direct reference in verse 17. They all say the wrath has
come (not 3 ½ years later but as soon as they see the Son of man in the
clouds). These verses support M2. M1 not supported.
(Rev 6:9 [KJV])
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the
altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:
(Rev 6:10 [KJV])
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O
Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them
that dwell on the earth?
(Rev 6:11 [KJV])
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it
was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until
their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as
they were, should be fulfilled.
(Rev 6:12 [KJV])
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo,
there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and
the moon became as blood;
After the above, then Yeshua appears in the clouds to meet
his elect in the air.
(Rev 6:13 [KJV])
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a
mighty wind.
(Rev 6:14 [KJV])
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled
together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
(Rev 6:15 [KJV])
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the
rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman,
and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the
mountains;
(Rev 6:16 [KJV])
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide
us from the face of him that sitteth on the
throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
(Rev 6:17 [KJV])
For the great day of his
wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
---- ---- ----
And after the above occurs (the
start of The Day of the Lord), the servants of God are sealed for their
protection. From what? The outpouring of God’s wrath. This verse supports M2. M1 not supported.
(Rev 7:1 [KJV])
And after these things I saw four angels standing
on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any
tree.
---- ---- ----
Now John notices a
different scene unlike the first (souls at the altar). He sees a
multitude in heaven that no man could number. These are the further
killed as well as all believers (the elect in Christ) before the
throne. They are no longer saying
how long will it take to have their blood avenged, but they are now
praising God. Again all this is after the world sees the signs and the son
of God; they say it is the wrath that has come. We have the rapture of
the church (now in heaven) with our Lord. Yeshua is in heaven with His
saints after the visit to the earth in the clouds. Note: He has not yet
returned to the earth to reign for 1000 years. These verses support M2. M1 not supported.
(Rev 7:9 [KJV])
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man
could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and
people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and
palms in their hands;
(Rev 7:10 [KJV])
And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God
which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the
Lamb.
(Rev 7:11 [KJV])
And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about
the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their
faces, and worshipped God,
(Rev 7:12 [KJV])
Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and
thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever
and ever. Amen.
(Rev 7:13 [KJV])
And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are
these which are arrayed in white robes? and
whence came they?
(Rev 7:14 [KJV])
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.
And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation (this is the great tribulation mentioned by Yeshua in Matthew 24;
after the tribulation in those days), and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
(Rev 7:15 [KJV])
Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him
day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth
on the throne shall dwell among them.
(Rev 7:16 [KJV])
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor
any heat.
(Rev 7:17 [KJV])
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall
feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God
shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation repeats itself
If you read revelation carefully
you will notice the book repeats events from a different
perspective. Here we have mention
of cloud (clue) and on it was the Son of man (Yeshua). Look at what He
does; He reaps the earth (His elect is taken out – rapture).
(Rev 14:14 [KJV])
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like
unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp
sickle.
(Rev 14:15 [KJV])
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud
voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the
harvest of the earth is ripe.
(Rev 14:16 [KJV])
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the
earth; and the earth was reaped.
---- ---- ----
Now look at what happens at
the second reaping. The first reaping was by the Son of man (rapture of
the elect) and the second reaping is the death of people in the wrath of
God. These verses support M2. M1 not supported.
(Rev 14:17 [KJV])
And another angel came out of the temple which is in
heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
(Rev 14:18 [KJV])
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power
over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle,
saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather
the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
(Rev 14:19 [KJV])
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and
gathered the vine of the earth, and
cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
(Rev 14:20 [KJV])
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the
winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand
and six hundred furlongs.
---- ---- ----
---- ---- ----
Here we have the great
multitude identified yet again in Rev 19. It is important to note that the
gathering of these people is for the marriage supper of the Lamb.
(Rev 19:5 [KJV])
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our
God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
(Rev 19:6 [KJV])
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as
the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,
Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
(Rev 19:7 [KJV])
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for
the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife
hath made herself ready.
(Rev 19:8 [KJV])
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for
the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
(Rev 19:9 [KJV])
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed
are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
(Rev 19:10 [KJV])
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto
me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that
have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is
the spirit of prophecy.
