Does the Catholic Church represent the Gospel of Jesus Christ or doctrines of demons?

1Tim 4:1-3 [KJV])

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

The First Doctrine of a Demon on record (1st Example)

- Serpent Said: (Gen 3:4 [KJV]) : And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

-  God’s words: (Gen 2:17 [KJV])

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

What Rome says compared against the word of God

Rome: Praying to Mary and to dead saints is encouraged (Doctrine).

(Matt 6:9 [KJV]): After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

----   -----   -----

Rome: Papal infallibility - The Pope’s word has greater authority than that of scripture (Doctrine).

-    (Ps 12:6-7 [KJV]): The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

----   -----   -----

Rome: When a person in the Lord dies they go to purgatory. They await payment from their loved ones (to be made to ROME) to free their souls for delivery into heaven (Doctrine).

- (Phil 1:23 [KJV]): For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

----   -----   -----

Rome: Christians are not saints. They become saints when it suits the Pope (Doctrine)

-     (Phil 4:21 [KJV]): Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

----   -----   -----

Rome: Followers of Christ should address a religious leader as “father” (Doctrine)

-    (Matt 23:9 [KJV]): And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

----   -----   -----

Rome: It killed believers by burning them at a stake if they translated the scripture into the people’s language.
