TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL MINISTRY

WHAT IS THE SINNERSí PRAYER AND IS IT BIBLICAL?

Video Presentations: We look forward to the part of the service that is referred to as the altar call. To see the lost come forward and repeat the sinnersí prayer is a joy to behold. After the prayer is said, it is pronounced that everyone is saved. With over 80% of people that make this walk no longer in church, we need to ask ourselves, is this sinnerís prayer really biblical. In presentation 1 it comes over that without baptism you cannot be saved. We believe that baptism is a commandment but it does not stop the Lord from saving you as the example shows with the thief on the cross. The thief was granted salvation even thought he would not have gotten a chance to be baptized (today you will be with me in paradise). Also read this summary.

2. A history about the sinnerís prayer and how this evangelical approach started with Billy Sunday (30:36)

3. Here we have a collection of revealing testimonies of people that said the sinnersí prayer and then told that they were saved. However as time passed they knew the truth by the life they lived (read about salvation & iniquity). It all ended well as the Holy Spirit eventually came into their lives. God is good. (9:49). Also read does the sinners' prayer actually work)
